SPORTSHALL ATHLETICS
The start of the Derbyshire Mini League Sportshall season is nearly here! Six events, one each month starting on Sunday 27th September. See the fixtures page for details of the other dates and times.
This is a great way of maintaining fitness and focus throughout the winter months. Any club athlete can take part in up to 3 events and a relay with the first two to finish from the club to count. Athletes who have competed in the Derbyshire Track and Field Mini League can use the numbers worn over the summer. New athletes should see senior coach Keith Newton to register and collect their personal number ready for the event.
This year, the league is charging £2.00 per athlete per competition which will be collected by the coach.
All events will be held at the Queens Park Leisure Centre starting at 1:30pm and finishing at 3:10pm with the exception of 22nd November which will start at 10:30am.
